Dr. Laura Cooper - Owner/Veterinarian

Place of Study - University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine - Licensed since 2017

Interests - Dr. Cooper's primary interests are small animal medicine and routine soft tissue surgery, with a focus on preventative care. She loves performing surgeries and taking the best care of her patients as possible. She worked as a veterinary assistant prior to veterinary college. She strives to make the veterinary environment as stress-free as possible for her patients with a quality client experience.

Personal - Dr. Cooper has lived in TN most of her life, except when her husband was in the U.S. Marines. Dr. Cooper values spending quality time with her husband, Bradley, and her son, Brenden. She enjoys her Doberman-mix, Phoebe, newest Doberman puppy addition, Raya, and her Tuxedo cat, Tuxie. Dr. Cooper is also entertained by her four Pygmy goats and Benji the bunny. Aside from her family pets, she enjoys horseback riding, kayaking, baking, and jewelry making. Dr. Cooper attends her local church weekly.

Bradley Cooper - Owner

Place of Study - Morristown Fire Academy and Walters State Police Academy

Interests - Bradley has worked hard renovating and constructing Cooper Veterinary Practice! He is a full-time fire-fighter. Bradley will be assisting with part-time duties as owner, facility upkeeper, veterinary assistant, and/or veterinary reception as needed.

Personal - Bradley has lived in TN most of his life, except when he served in the U.S. Marines for 4 years. He enjoys scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and relaxing when possible. Bradley enjoys spending quality time with his family and attending his local church.




Brandi Hannifan - Experienced Veterinary Assistant

Experience - 
Brandi is a new transplant to the East Tennessee area, as she grew up in Virginia and moved to Georgia when she was 19. She attended Animal Behavior College online in 2010 to obtain her Veterinary Assistant Certification. Brandi started her career in Veterinary Medicine once she graduated from the program and has been working in the field ever since. 

Interests - 
Brandi has always had a passion for helping animals in need. She currently has 3 chihuahuas that she adores and several feral cats that she feeds in the neighborhood. She, and her new husband, Matthew, are currently searching for a small piece of land to purchase where she can live out of her dream of owning several farm animals and a few more dogs.

Personal - 
When Brandi isn’t at work you can find her at home hanging out on her back deck with her family. She enjoys grilling, baking and spending time with her loved ones. 





Makayla Reeves - Veterinary Assistant

Interests - Growing up on a farm, Makayla has always had a love for animals. She enjoys outdoor activities such as spending time on the lake, fishing, and taking her dogs hiking.

Personal - Makalya is a mother to a deaf Catahoula mix named Shylo. She spent time educating herself on sign language to better communicate with him. Makayla's goal is to gain as much knowledge as she can working under Dr. Cooper and maybe even going back to school to further her education in Veterinary Medicine.






Katelyn Baird - Primary Veterinary Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Place of Study - Katelyn graduated in 2018 from Jefferson County High School. She is currently attending Penn Foster State online for becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Interests - Katelyn has always loved animals! She has wanted to work with animals since she was a young girl. Katelyn's goal is not only to help animals, but to reassure, comfort, and help the clients. Customer service is her main priority!

Personal - Katelyn is originally from Indiana, but moved to the Jefferson County area in 2010 with her family. Katelyn is wife to her husband, Ethan, and a mother to her beautiful baby girl, Kasey. Katelyn enjoys relaxing weekends with her family, going to the park, singing, being outside in general, taking yearly vacations to the beach, and attending her local church weekly.
